There’s No Place Like Home

Monday, October 31st, 2016

It feels like a dream come true—a former school campus in Guatemala transformed into an Education Center that will serve as our new home base for in-country operations for generations to come. Thanks to the generosity of our anonymous benefactor—and the overwhelming support from all of you who have stepped up to sponsor spaces in the new center—we’ve been hard at work ever since the initial purchase. Our New Education Center Is Shaping Up to Be Spectacular

Thursday, July 28th, 2016

We can hardly believe it’s been a year since we signed the deed to our new home base in Guatemala. We have our generous benefactor to thank for the initial purchase—but you all have really stepped up, too! The best part is—you can literally see the changes all this support has brought about. The grounds of our Education Center are no longer a construction site underway, but a campus taking shape as construction debris is being cleared.

CoEd GUatemalaGets a New Home!

A new home in Guatemala means future growth and major opportunities
for CoEd programs!

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous benefactor, we are taking a gigantic leap forward in our ability to break the cycle of poverty in Guatemala through education. We have purchased a property in San Lucas, Guatemala, and secured funding to begin renovating the space to meet our needs for serving students in the western and central highlands. Our benefactor has challenged us to raise the final 18% needed to complete the building’s transformation into a brand new education center! This is a huge deal. Here’s why:

1. Staff Efficiency:

Our Guatemala staff currently works out of two offices and one warehouse. With the purchase of this new property, we will be able to consolidate operations, affording us major gains in efficiency.

2. Proximity to Beneficiaries:
