CoEd Wins $20,000 Literacy Grant!
  
Better World Books LogoCoEd was recently chosen by online bookseller Better World Books to receive a prestigious $20,000 Literacy Grant.  Awarded bi-annually, the prize recognizes the outstanding efforts of international nonprofit organizations committed to promoting literacy in disadvantaged communities across the globe.
 
Corp girlBetter World Books gave out two awards this year—one of them was based on which organization got the most votes.  While we didn't receive the highest number of votes, we did win what we think is the even better honor our application for the Culture of Reading Program (CORP) was selected by Better World Books' Literacy Panel as the strongest program among more than 50 other organizations.  We even came out on top of some well-known players, such as Invisible Children, READ International, and Books for Africa!
  
 
 The grant will benefit over 2,000 primary school kids in the Culture of Reading Program in the coming year.  Read the full press release and watch our brand new video about CORP to learn more.
