Helping Hands Tour

Heritage Tour

 

CoEd's seven-day Helping Hands service trip offers you and your family a chance to work alongside some of the students who receive support through CoEd programs. Spend your mornings volunteering at a school and working on beautification projects with students, and spend your afternoons experiencing the local culture and exploring Antigua.

Cost per Person

 

US $1,275 plus airfare for a family of four+
US $1,375 plus airfare for a family of three
US $1,475 plus airfare for double occupancy
US $1,575 plus airfare for single occupancy

SUNDAY
Participants arrive in Guatemala City (GUA) on their own flights.
Transportation will be provided from airport to hotel in Antigua.

5:00 pm Social hour at hotel
6:00 pm Dinner

7:00 am Orientation & breakfast
9:30 am Arrive at the Culture of Reading Program (CORP) school where you will be working all week
9:40 am Meet the kids and start mini-makeover activities
12:30 pm Lunch at the school
1:00 pm Continue mini-makeover activities
3:00 pm Return to hotel
5:00 pm Social time at hotel
6:00 pm Group dinner in Antigua

7:00 am Breakfast at hotel
9:30 am Arrive at CORP school to continue mini-makeover activities
12:30 pm Lunch at the school
1:15 pm Community engagement activity: visit to a local flower plantation
4:00 pm Arrive at hotel to freshen up
6:00 pm Group dinner in Antigua

WEDNESDAY
7:00 am Breakfast at hotel
