Cooperative for Education (CoEd) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Guatemala through education. CoEd accomplishes this mission by providing sustainable education tools (like books and computers), teacher training, and scholarship programs in impoverished schools. Through these programs, CoEd strives to address the root causes of poverty in Guatemala, rather than merely treating its symptoms.

Cooperative for Education (CoEd) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Guatemala through education. CoEd accomplishes this mission by helping kids learn to read, graduate, and thrive throughout their lives. By providing sustainable education tools (like books and computers), teacher training, and scholarships, CoEd strives to address the root causes of poverty in Guatemala, rather than merely treating its symptoms.

We are looking for a Scholarships Associate who is service-focused and a go-getter. This position is responsible for providing support to our scholarship staff in carrying out the Thousand Girls Initiative, which aims to keep a thousand girls from dropping out of school in Guatemala.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will assist with maintaining our database of information, providing excellent customer service to our supporters, and utilizing your creativity to keep our donors and volunteers informed and feeling appreciated for their generosity.

This is an entry-level position based in our Cincinnati, Ohio office and starting in June 2018.
