CoEd’s four-day Graduation Tour gives you the opportunity to stand beside your Rise Program student as they graduate from middle or high school. You’ll also get to participate in an activity with current Rise Youth Development Program students while staying in Antigua, the beautiful colonial capital of Guatemala.

November 29 - December 2, 2018



US $900 plus airfare per person

NOTE: Trip expenses may be tax deductible. Refer to IRS Publication 526 (PDF).

  • The application deadline is October 1, 2018.
  • A non-refundable deposit of US $350 per person is required at the time of application.

Participants arrive in Guatemala City (GUA) on their own flights. Transportation will be provided from airport to hotel in Antigua for those arriving on Thursday.

6:00 pm Social time at restaurant in Antigua
6:30 pm Group dinner
8:00 pm Return to hotel

7:15 am Breakfast at hotel
celebrate with them and their family 8:45 am Free time in Antigua
11:30 am Arrive at CoEd Education Center for a brief tour
12:30 pm Lunch at the Education Center
2:00 pm Arrive at graduation hall for ceremony
5:00 pm Graduation ceremony ends
6:00 pm Dinner at nearby restaurant with graduating students and their parents
7:45 pm Return to hotel

7:00 am Breakfast at restaurant in Antigua
8:30 am Arrive at location to do service project with high school Rise Program students
12:45 pm Lunch at restaurant in San Lucas, Sacatepéquez
2:30 pm Arrive at hotel
3:30 pm (optional) Free time in Antigua
6:30 pm Group dinner in Antigua
8:00 pm Return to hotel

Depart Guatemala City on scheduled flights.
