Graduation Tour

About This Tour

CoEd’s four-day Graduation Tour gives you the opportunity to stand beside your Rise Program student as they graduate from middle or high school. You’ll also get to participate in an activity with current Rise Program students while staying in Antigua, the beautiful colonial capital of Guatemala.

2018 Tour Dates

November 29–December 2, 2018

  • The application deadline is October 1, 2018.
  • A non-refundable deposit of US $350 per person is required at the time of application.

US $900 plus airfare per person

Note: This itinerary shows real experiences and approximate travel times, but is not the exact itinerary for this year’s trip.

Participants arrive in Guatemala City (GUA) on their own flights. Transportation will be provided from airport to hotel in Antigua for those arriving on Thursday.


6:00 pm Social time at restaurant in Antigua
6:30 pm Group dinner
8:00 pm Return to hotel

7:30 am Breakfast at hotel
8:30 am Depart for Graduation Ceremony
9:30 am Graduation Ceremony begins
12:00 pm Graduation Ceremony ends
12:30 pm Lunch at nearby restaurants with graduates and parents
2:30 pm Return to Antigua
3:00 pm Free time in Antigua
6:00 pm Social Hour
7:00 pm Dinner in Antigua

7:00 am Breakfast at restaurant in Antigua
8:30 am Arrive at location to do service project with high school students
12:45 pm Lunch at restaurant in San Lucas, Sacatepéquez
2:30 pm Arrive at hotel
3:30 pm (optional) Free time in Antigua
6:30 pm Group dinner in Antigua
8:00 pm Return to hotel
Depart Antigua for Guatemala City airport.
