What are CoEd badges?
CoEd badges are our little way of celebrating the ways you are breaking the cycle of poverty in Guatemala through education!
You can earn badges by joining one of our giving societies like our Legacy Society, Leadership Circle, or The Cooperative, going to Guatemala with CoEd on a tour, or sponsoring a student in the Rise Program, to name a few.
How do I know if I’ve earned any badges?
If you’ve given a gift in the past, you can log in to your CoEd account through the Donor Portal on our website to access your badges. If you have not set up your account yet, click the button and use the instructions below to log in and access your account.
- Enter your email address.
- Click “Submit” and a verification token will be sent to you via email. You will copy and paste this into the portal “Token” field.
- Create a new password for your account.
- Log in using your new username and password.
*Note: Your username will be your email address moving forward. Any previous account usernames used will no longer be active.
On your profile, you’ll see a section called “CoEd Badges Earned,” where each of your personal badges will be displayed.
You might already have some badges listed here. (Congrats!) If not, don’t worry. It’s never too late to start earning badges!
What badges can I earn?
There are many different badges to strive for, but we’ll list a few of our favorites below!
Tour Participant Badge
Can anyone guess what this badge might be for? If you saw the airplane and guessed that it’s for going on a CoEd tour to Guatemala, you are absolutely right! This badge is there to track how many times you’ve visited our programs down in Guatemala. If you haven’t travelled with us yet, but want to earn this badge, sign up for an upcoming tour here.
Rise Sponsor Badge
This badge is for sponsoring a student in our Rise Program. Not only will you be helping a student in need reach the important milestone of high school graduation (hence the graduation cap icon), you’ll earn this cool badge in the process. Earn this badge today by sponsoring a student here.
The Cooperative Badge
For only $20 per month, you can join our new monthly giving club, The Cooperative, and earn this sweet badge! Members of The Cooperative help collectively sponsor students in the Rise Program. This community is made up of incredible people from around the world, all with a passion for helping kids in Guatemala get the education they deserve. Sound like you? Earn this badge by joining here.
Leadership Circle Badge
Leadership Circle members earn this badge and make a commitment to contribute a minimum of $1,200 per year for three years so that Guatemalan schools in need will receive CoEd programs and improve the quality of education. Most members choose to fulfill their commitments through program sponsorships. You can add this badge to your profile by joining the Leadership Circle here.
Legacy Society Badge
This badge can be earned by joining CoEd’s Legacy Society, a group of supporters who have decided to include CoEd in their estate plans.
